Catherine Dixon’s garden designs are drawn to scale and show hard landscaping and garden features from a birds eye view.

Catherine can also provide an axonometric projection which gives the design a 3D prospective giving height and depth to your design.

Some clients like to use the finished designs to build the gardens themselves while others prefer to use landscape contractors whom Catherine is happy to work closely with.

The brief for this design was for a formal area near the house with year round interest and a small veg patch for easy access leading to a wild area with pond, willow arbour and native planting, creating a haven for wild life and privacy.

The Axonometric Projection (below right) shows the height and depth of the design. My client used the design to create the
 garden themselves. Having a clear design and detailed planting list enabled them to work on it in stages when time allowed, without losing focus.

This simple Family garden gives plenty of room for entertaining and eating out on the patio with a small seating area at the end of the garden to catch the all important late sun. The wide shallow steps are ideal for toddlers to manoeuvre on.

This Low Maintenance Garden provided a screen of soft airy planting to be viewed from the Conservatory with evergreen shrubs disguising the boundary and requiring very little maintenance.
